Joe Freeman

Joe Freeman has more than 18 years of business experience in accounting, business management and operations, consulting, and marketing. He is a successful entrepreneur and has held leadership positions with several national accounting firms where he gained extensive experience in operational processes and efficiencies. At Pioneer Services, Freeman is responsible for all operations, as well as strategic planning. As president, he manages a diverse group of more than 300 associates in various departments and geographic locations. During his tenure, Freeman has led a number of key departments and initiatives at the company, including Internet marketing, new business development, government affairs, corporate marketing, strategy and innovation, collections, lending, and retail operations. He previously served as both Chief Lending Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. In addition, Freeman is the author of several published articles on management and financial matters, and an Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Teaching Fellow at the Bloch School of Business at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Freeman is also a graduate of the FastTrac Entrepreneur program, and founder of the featured "Start Up Company" in the 2001 Kaufmann Annual Report.
