Larry D. Flowers joined MidCountry in January 2005, after spending nearly 15 years with Citicorp, where he was responsible for state and regional activities for commercial, consumer, mortgage, investment, and insurance products and services.

In 1993, Flowers joined First Liberty Bank as Executive Vice President of Retail and Community Banking. Following the sale of First Liberty Bank to BB&T in 2000, he became President of BB&T's Mid-South Region, a position he held for 3 years. From 2003 to 2004, he was President of Kislak National Bank in Miami Lakes, Florida.
